The Natural And Safe Way To Beauty

Women have always wanted to look beautiful and attractive. Even in the past, women have tried our best to revamp our looks by wearing fashionable clothes or using cosmetics. One of the sure-fire ways to change our appearance is by dyeing our natural hair color differently.

Unfortunately, most dyes in the market today contain a lot of damaging chemicals that ruin the texture of the hair. It may dry every single strand of hair you have and you will lose the natural gloss and shine of your locks.

When shopping, it is best to choose organic hair dyes instead. These may not have the instantaneous effect that you may want. It may take a few weeks or months for the color of your hair to change completely but you can be sure that your hair will retain its gorgeous luster. Here are some organic hair dyes for you to choose from.

Henna Hair Dye

This organic hair dye dates back to the ancient times in India, the Arab region and locales surrounding the Mediterranean Sea. This is mainly because the plant Lawsonia inermis grows abundantly in these areas.

The natural form of henna hair dye has one color: reddish brown. However, you can add other organic materials to change its color. You can create light gold or blonde hair dye if you add saffron, chamomile, rhubarb root or Cassia obovata to henna. If you prefer black hair, you need to mix vashma, indigo and karchak.

Homemade Hair Dye

Believe it or not, some of the fresh produce you get from the market can be used as natural hair dyes. One of the biggest advantages of using organic hair dyes is that the materials are pretty cheap. You don’t even have to worry that it will leave your hair in shambles.

In Southern California, women lighten their hair with lemon juice. All you need to do is squeeze lemon juice on your hair and stay under the sun. You can also mix it with chamomile tea. It may take a few months before you see results.

Brown hair is easy to achieve. Cool your morning cup of coffee then soak your locks for a few minutes. To be a sexy red-head, combine beet and carrot juice then slather your hair with this mixture. Let it stay there for an hour.

You can do this once every week or every other day if you want faster results. Just note that if the compound is acidic, it still may dehydrate your hair strands.

Be careful with products sold in specialty shops or department stores nowadays. Yes, it may say ‘organic’ and ‘henna-based’ in the box but there is a greater chance that it still contains artificial chemicals that may leave a sting in your eye or pungent smell. If you are planning to use henna hair dye, make sure that you get one which is high-quality.

Now that you know that you can use everyday products to dye your hair, you might as well give it a try. Besides the fact that it is cheaper, anything organic is undeniably good for you.
